Yo-Kai Watch gets Trending in the Philippines

I Heard Somewhere in Social Media about the ‘Yo-kai’ Trend. Everybody didn’t know about that, so I’ll Post it here; so the Big Question is, what’s a Yo-kai?

The Yo-kai Watch (Or Ghost Watch) allows the wearer to detect & locate ghosts. It’s also used to summon Yo-kai by Inserting the Coin at the Watch’s Slot. All the Yo-kai is based from Actual Monsters & Creatures in Japanese Mythology & Folklore. Yo-kai means “Ghost” in Japanese.

In the Anime, Keita (Nathan Adams in Video Game) Met the First Yo-kai, Whisper. Together with The Cuddly Cat Jibanyan, Keita will follow his lead to Defeat the Bad Yo-kai & Save the World. The Anime Version is inspired by the video game of the same name. The game is created by Level 5, which is also the makers of Professor Layton & Ni no Kuni Series. Sadly, the Final Episode of YW Anime airs last Friday on GMA 7, and they’ve announced Season 2!

That’s why Yokai Watch is Trending in the Philippines with Memes & Quotes from the show. They’ve even love the Closing Credits with LSS!  I’ve watched the First Episode of the show, & I think it’s awesome!

My JumpStart Games Series Childhood Story

He's Celebrating his Birthday! 

In 2008, we went to the Shopping Mall with My Family to buy Video Game CDs. I was In 4th Grader, while My Brother is a 2nd Grader. Both of us are Gamers, until he found a Video Game for us at the store. He Bought Jumpstart 2nd Grade.

The Game improvises us inside the interactive Schoolhouse where we explore, and Study English, Math, Science, Music, Arts and Geography. I'm really like to explore new Places, like CJ, one of my Favorite Jumpstart Characters.

Moving to Present, I've became a Jumpstart Fan since I’ve bring Back Jumpstart 2nd Grade on my Computer last February. I've interested with this, so I've Download More JS Games on my List, which I'm going to Review below. I'll Get More JS Games if it's Available on the Archives. If you're ready, then Let's Move on with My Jumpstart Game Reviews:  

• Jumpstart 2^nd Grade - It is The First Game I’ve ever Played. I’ve enjoyed a lot of things, like Music, Arts, English, Science, Geography and Math. I don’t remember how I Send Mails to My Pen Pals in The United States. Now, I know how to Write for them and See the Wonders of My Dream Destination. I don’t know how to Play at the Ice Cave, and I’ve Improved my Performance Skills inside! We learned a lot of things, with the help of My New Best Friends. The Songs could remember it on my Mind! It’s Now on my Gaming Shelves because I’m Interested to bring back this game. I’ve even send it to Our Classroom’s PC and tested by Two 4^th Grade Students who are also Best Friends and Our Class Teacher! Also, My BFF Miggy Garcia played this Game, too!
• Jumpstart Preschool Classic Version – I’ve even want to try More Jumpstart, so I’ve played this game if I’m Bored. I Met The Preschool Squad – Casey, Eleanor, Kisha and Pierre inside the Classroom full of Fun. I’ve also sent it to The PC of our Classroom and tried by My Classmates with some Educational Problems.
• Jumpstart Explorers – It helps me learn the World History! I’ll recommend it to my 7^th Grade Cousin who wants to learn more about History. The Time Machine is Useful; it is the important thing in this Game. Plus, I’ve also make new Crafts based from the game! My Game Role is to be an Explorer like My Favorite BFFs in JS. Their Voice Acting is Amazing than it seems!
• Jumpstart Advanced 1^st Grade – It is the improved version of Jumpstart 1^st Grade Classic and v.2. The Previous Ones are Incompatible with Windows 7. The Challenge is to Ride the Scooter and Get the Trophy in the Race. You’ll also help them in their designated areas and Grab the Power-Ups. I’d enjoyed this Game So Much.
• Jumpstart Advanced 2^nd Grade – In The Advanced Version, CJ and Edison are Back Again as Spies of Jumpstart Intelligence Agency (JIA). With the Help of Frankie, Hopsalot and Lucy, You can undo the Problems around Jumpstartville. The Gameplay is Amazing, and it should help me in my Studies as an upcoming 10^th Grade Student.
• Jumpstart Adventures 3^rd Grade: Mystery Mountain – This is where I’ll improve my Studies for the Upcoming Exams next Week. There are lots of Discoveries there to Save the History beyond time. There are some Puzzles and Challenges to do. My Brother tried to play this game and he thinks that it’s awesome.
• Jumpstart Adventures 4^th Grade: Sapphire Falls – In Sapphire Falls, Two 4^th Grade Students and Journalists solves the Mystery of Sapphire Falls. Solving Math Problems are Hard, so I’ll need help with someone. I’m should try to play with Math, nor do I like English. The First Version, Haunted Island is very scary, but I’ll need to decide if I’m going to play this Scary Game. My Friend, Miggy tried Both Versions of the game.
• Jumpstart Adventure Challenge – This game is Easy for me, but the difficult one is in the Arcade. As an Editor in Chief of the Magazine, There are 4 Games to try inside Adventure World and earn new Cool Stuff in my Publication.
• Jumpstart Math for Second Graders – This Game is so Much Fun to Play it. My Brother and I are playing this game together. My BFFs CJ and Edison are saving the Princess’ Royal Family by solving Math Problems.
• Jumpstart Reading for Second Graders – Here, you can search the Hidden City beneath the Jewels. I’ve love to Learn English as my Mother Language. My Favorite JS Character returns as they explore the Mysteries.
• Jumpstart Artist - Because Kisha and I are Artistic, I'm enjoying this game to learn more about The Power of Creativity and Imagination at the Art Fair. I can help her Build the Carnival with the Blueprint, too! 

Okay, that’s it for my Review. I’ll tell you about my Favorites in JS Series. In an All Star Quiz, I’ve got Frankie, the Team Leader of the JS Squad (and The Birthday Celebrant). Second in the results is Eleanor, because both of us love to read Books. And third is Kisha, because we like to Draw and Color. My Favorite Jumpstart Character is CJ, where I met him first in My First Game, Jumpstart 2^nd Grade. This is followed by Frankie in the list. Frankie’s voice in JS Advanced Series and CJ from JS 2^nd Grade are my Favorites. Most of All, I don’t have my Favorite Jumpstart Game. I Love them all!

I guess all of you are playing Jumpstart since you were in School Days, Right? As of today, it’s Still Alive! They’ve even got their Virtual Online Game, even in mobile and console forms, too! Also, I’ve bought a Jumpstart Pre-K Jumbo Workbook at the Bookstore last February as a reward for being a Grand Winner in A Journalism Training Competition at School. I’ll hope that JS would improve more with their New Games and A Dream Educational TV Series for Kids!

Why I Love Super Mario

Today, We Are Celebrating 30 Years of Super Mario. So I Decided to Make A New Editorial about my Favorite Video Game. The Main Question Is, Why I Love Super Mario?

After the Success of Donkey Kong and Mario Bros, Shigeru Miyamoto wants to create another Game featuring Mario and Luigi. And Then It All Came Out Into a Phenomenon of Video Games. Super Mario Bros. is One of My Favorite Video Games I’ve Played during My Childhood. And did you Know that ALMOST Thousands of Gamers Worldwide, including The Filipinos and My Parents are Playing this Game until Now? My Mom is also an Avid Fan, and Her Boyfriend is Luigi.

I Started Playing Super Mario Bros. with My Mom when I Was in Preschool. Then It Thought Me to Bring into the World of Nintendo. It is my First Ever Nintendo Game. In Other Levels, I’ve trying too hard to Move On. I became addicted to the Game, so I’ll Always Playing It Every Evening.  And Until Now, I’ve Deeply Fell in Love with the Main Character, Mario in 2011. Then We Had to Plan Our First Meet. I've Also Started to Collect my Mario Merchandise, including Picture Frames, T-Shirts, Shirts, Dresses, Towels, Stickers, Books, Toys, Plushies, and Others. 

On This Day, We Are Celebrating 30 Years of Super Mario. And Of Course, There are Lots of Several Games, including Spin-Offs like Sports, Parties, Racing, RPGs, and More. There are Many Mario Games Coming in the Future, and Miyamoto Told in an Interview that The Series is Looking Forward to a New Direction. This is the Brand New Beginning for Mario! 

He's My Superstar in My Life. He is Also the Prince of Childhood Memories and in Video Games. Thanks for Bringing our Precious Childhood into a Memorable Experience for Us in your Adventures. And Most of All, You are the STAR of our Imaginative Dreams.

Yesterday in Filipino Class, My Teacher is having a Discussion and Lecture for Plays. She Told Us to Make Plans for the Upcoming Events for This Month of August. The School is celebrating Filipino Month and I’m Really Excited for it. One of the Main Activities is Room Decorating. The Teacher needs us to Decorate our Classroom so The Filipino Department will Amazed by our Creativity. I Love to Decorate with Crafts and Rooms.

Wait, Does it Remind Me of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer?

Yes, Indeed! The Upcoming Animal Crossing Spin-Off is Like the Main One but The Main thing is All about Creativity and Imagination. Your Role in this Game is A Room Designer where Your Fellow Villagers are Taking Requests for you and Take the Challenge. You may pick their Furniture, Wallpapers, Floors, Decors, and More. Plus, you can Also Design Many Establishments like Schools. It is like a Time Management and Strategy Game. At the End of their Task with a Perfect Request, He or She will Love your Design. Isabelle (My Favorite Female Character), her Twin Brother Digby, Lottie, and the Decorating Team will assist you on your Quest.

For the First Time in this Game, There are A New Kind of Amiibo Cards. Scan the Cards and You will get Additional Decoration Content.  You may Also Use your AC Amiibo Figures, Too. Amiibo Cards are Also Used in Another Spin-Off Game, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, which will release this Holiday for Wii U. The Japanese People Loved the Game since the Release Yesterday. It's So Cute! While I'm Waiting to Get this Game, I will Play Imagine: Interior Designer. It has the Same Gameplay with Happy Home Designer.

So Our Filipino Teacher decided to do this Room Decorating Activity for this Month and We’re Getting Ready to Plan. Just Imagine… If I am Isabelle, I would talk my Teammates about the Decoration Process. We Are Also Sharing our Big Ideas. The Teacher Chose a Special Theme to promote our Country’s Culture. The Filipino Department (which consists of A Group of Filipino Teachers from Grade 7-10 in our School) and Our Principal will give a Critique for our Design. I guess it would be Happen!

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will be released on September 25 for North America and October 2 for Europe exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. 

Gaming Journalism through Philippine Magazines

Throughout the Internet, Gaming Journalism is the Part of The Stories of Pop Culture. Like Kotaku and IGN, These Websites has a lot of Gaming News Content, Especially Controversies and Mostly Featured Topics. Many of them have Bashers, which are going to annoy the Journalists. But This Time, I’m to be a Gaming Journalist. As a Junior Gaming Journalist, I can Share the Information to the World. My Classmates and I are at the School Library, next to our Classroom. We’re resting up to Prepare for Our Dance Competition. Later, I Began Reading at the Magazine Shelves. I was Amazed at the Cover of a Gaming Magazine. It teaches me to become a Gaming Journalist, Thanks to GamesMaster Magazine.

GamesMaster is the First Gaming Magazine in the Philippines.  It was bought by Future Plc in United Kingdom to the Philippines by Summit Media to Promote Video Games for Filipinos on September 2003 and ceased on September 2006. It Features Many Reviews, Sneak Peeks, News, Events, and Lots of Gaming Related Stories. They are also giving Away Rare Prizes like Consoles, Handhelds and Games, Too.  It inspires me Severe Information about Gaming.

After GamesMaster was Gone, All of the Gaming Related Articles are Moving to K-Zone. It is a Children’s Magazine for Young Boys, Girls, Teens and Fans, which is owned also by Summit Media. KZ Magazine always features Video Game Topics in their Monthly GameZone Section. Like GamesMaster, This Section focuses on their Old, Latest and Upcoming Games, News, Events, Cheats, and More. They also had a Special Column where everyone can submit their Tips, Cheats, Questions, Reviews, Favorites, and Avatars. It Does NOT Bring Violent Games with Swear Words because it is a Children’s Magazine. All of your Favorite Games are Mostly Featured There. This is where I started learning Gaming Journalism since I Read My First Issue on December 2013.

As of Now, Many Technology Magazines are joining through Gaming Journalism for a Short While. We can see the Future of Gaming Journalism for all of us. If you want to be a Gaming Journalist, then here’s a Tip: Making a Blog like T2P Video Games Central will be your Training Ground. Reading other Articles like Kotaku, IGN, Polygon, My Nintendo News, Gamnesia and GamesRadar and Other Gaming Magazines are your Assistants to write a Story. Pens and Papers will be your Helpers. And Always Remember: Practice makes Perfect. 

Nintendo's Future: Mobile Games

Nintendo is such a Happier Video Game Company with their Wii U and 3DS Games, plus Amiibos, Miiverse, Upcoming Games, Nintendo NX, Quality of Life, A Theme Park, and of Course, I’m Talking about their Mobile Games.

In The Philippines, Almost many Users are now using Mobile Phones. Their Favorite Games are Clash of Clans, Candy Crush, Temple Run, Subway Surfers, Angry Birds and The Like. Clash of Clans are Getting their TV Advertisement, Angry Birds showing their Own Cartoons on TV and Candy Crush has Many Merchandises. Mobile Games are Now the Part of Philippine’s Pop Culture.

Their Rival Company, Sega enters the World of Mobile Games by Publishing Sonic Dash, Jump, and Runners. They are Also Inviting Rovio to Put Red from Angry Birds Epic in Sonic Dash. As of now I Guess Sega is going slow than Sonic’s Speed.

How About Nintendo?

Previously, Nintendo and DeNA (The Japanese Mobile Game Company that also publishes Mobile Games like Square Enix’s Final Fantasy) collaborated together and decided to make their Mobile Games. They’re going to Release 5 Nintendo IPs in Different Genres until March 2017. I guess their First Nintendo Mobile Game will be released by the End of the Year and I Predict It could be related to Mario. I Really Also Want an Animal Crossing Mobile Game (because the Game is so Cute).

While we’re Waiting, Pokemon Shuffle is Now Bringing to Mobile Devices because of its Popularity as Nintendo 3DS’s Favorite Games. You can now play it anywhere; even you’re on the Go. I really think everything will be free, but with in-app game Purchases, It’s Okay to Do it.

Publishing Nintendo’s Mobile Games will make the Company Famous. It can Increase their Company Demands. And it seems the Philippines is going back to Nintendo Addiction and introduces them to the Newest Generation of Gamers. Let’s Get Spreading the Word!

How to Feel like E3 at Home: An E3 Expo Party Planning Guide

Hey, Gamers! E3 2015 is coming next Month. I’m Super Excited, How About You? Last Year, I was Attending E3 at home, because it is Raining All Day. My Mother covered me with Umbrellas and took me a Picture. I played some of my LSS-worthy Music on my Phone.  This is my Third Time to Attend the Event. The First one (2013) makes my day go crazy. My Computer Broke Away, but my Dad Helped Me and It Doesn’t Work for One Year. But At Last, I am Finally Going to E3 the Following Year (2014) with Umbrellas and Stuff.  

School is over for you.  And If You Can’t Go to E3 2015 like mine, then I Have a Brand New Idea to Try Yourself:  You can make your very own E3 Party with your Friends! 

1.  Before the Most Prestigious Video Game Holiday, Invite your Fellow Gamers and Neighbors in your Community for Two Weeks. Create or Print your own Invites for the Party. To make it Perfect, You May Include a Name Tag (Like Media People Wear on Events or Coverage, and It’s like an ID Card.) with the E3 Logo. Just Remember, No Name Tag/Invitation, No Entry!

2.  Prepare some Foods and Drinks. The Perfect Party Food is Snacks, Juice/Tea, Biscuits, and Pizza! Also tell your Friends to bring Snacks, like you’re having a Tea Party. You Must Know The Etiquette, Gamers!

3.  Bring Consoles, Handhelds, and Tablets! While you’re on a Break, Why Not Bring these on the Party? After Playing, Put it back to your Pouch or Case in case you Missed It.  And Also, You Can Bring Your Favorite Video Games and Collections, Too. 

4.  The Perfect Party Décor is Video Games! Display your Game Posters, Cases, and Your Game Collection to Create a Perfect Party Look. Tell Your Friends to wear your Favorite Video Game Shirts to show off your Style.

5.  Set up a Projector, TV, Computer, Laptop or Console to Watch the Press Conferences and E3 Events and Play Games with your Friends, even when you’re on a Break.

6.  Don’t Forget to Bring a Notebook and Pens to List off Notes, Upcoming Games, Release Dates, and News. And Oh, Bring a Camera (or a Camera Phone and Chargers) to Take some Memorable Photos and Upload it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the Hashtags #E3Party #E32015 and #E3. Don’t Forget to Post your Party Photos on Our FB Fan Page!

7.  Try Some Fun Activities like E3 Bingo Game. This is a Classic Twist where you can Cross Out what you see during Press Conferences or Game Announcements like Nintendo Direct Presentations. You may Search it on Google for Examples.

8.  Don’t Forget to Give a Thank You Card and Gifts to Everyone as a Souvenir. You May Invite your Friends Again on the Next E3 Parties, and even Game Announcements.  

Here are More Things to try during the Party:

*For a Slumber Party, You may bring Pillows and Additional Sleepwear. If you’re watching a Movie Marathon, You may choose some Video Game Themed Movies like Wreck It Ralph, Spy Kids 3, and Final Fantasy Series. Or you can tell your Favorite Story from the game you’ve played or Continue Playing Multiplayer Games on your Consoles or Handhelds.

*To start off the Summer Heat, Join on a Pool Party or Play a Shooting Game using Water Guns ala Splatoon and Call of Duty IRL. Don’t Forget to Serve Refreshing Drinks and Snacks!

An Introduction to E3 2015 - Experience the Evolution

E3 2015 Is Coming. Before We Begin, I Want to Tell My Story about my Experiences in The Previous Years with The Most Prestigious Video Game Expo.

Before The Prestigious Video Game Expo is inaugurated, there is a Video Game Crisis between The Competition on 3 Companies, Nintendo, Sega and Sony. They are always showing their New Products in every Consumer Electronics Show (CES). CES is Mostly Had Millions of Video Game Booths. Later, They Fuse Each Other to Form Their Very Own Video Game Expo.

The First E3 1995 Has Amazing Happenings. Sony Welcomes to the World of Video Games, Joining with   Nintendo and Sega’s New Console Showdown. 3 Main Game Companies Showed the Newest Game Consoles: Sony’s Playstation, Sega’s Saturn, and Nintendo’s Ultra (Renamed as Nintendo 64) and Virtual Boy (Which turned out into a Commercial Failure). The Successful Expo has 49,000 Attendees.

With Live Television Broadcasts, Viral Memes, Notable Special Guests, Hype Trains, and Upcoming Game Releases, This will be A Perfect Video Game Expo in History, Following through the Years. In 2007 and 2008, E3 Changed The New Format to E3 Media and Business Summit, which Decreases the Attendees to 10,000 in 2007 and 5,000 in 2008. It was Reversed to The Normal E3 in 2009.

In 2013, My Friends are inviting me over to E3 2013. It Was My First Attendance, including Sony’s PS4 Reveal, Xbox One Announcement, and Konami’s E3 Press Con. Later, they’ll Going to Bring Me to Several Press Conferences. That Includes the Reveal of Nintendo’s Hit Fighting Game Super Smash Bros., PS4 and Xbox One Reveal, and Several Surprises. After Nintendo’s Announcement, It turned out. My Computer is Broken. And Sadly, I Became Sick and I Can’t Go On. I will try to come Next Year.

The Following Year in 2014, I Am Super Hyped For E3 since One Week before The Video Game Expo. I Invited my Classmates at School, Too. For The First Time in Forever, I’m Happily Attended the Event for A Straight Week! My Mom Told Me to Display Umbrella above my Desk to Avoid Raindrops falling down. I Also Wear Several VGame OOTDs to Match Up each Week, Mostly My Favorite Super Mario Apparel. As A Journalist, I Listened to These Press Conferences from The Top VGame Companies. One of My Faves is Nintendo. While I Searching for E3 News on FB, My Mind said that E3 is Like a Video Game Holiday with a Mixture of Christmas, Birthdays, and Parties.

I’m Attending E3 2015 Once Again. Being As a New Video Game Journalist is Fun, and T2P Video Games Central is My Headquarters. Luckily I’m Going to Review for Diagnostic Tests by Thursday and Friday at School in the Afternoon, while E3 was Held from Midnight to Dawn. Sadly, I Can’t Attend Bethesda’s Press Con because of My Classes. And If I Haven’t Attend the Event, I’m Going Crazy. I am Attending 5 Press Cons and 2 Events in E3. I’m So Excited for This! Because of My Love for Video Games, T2P Video Games Central is having a Live Coverage for E3 2015! I’m Going to Be There on Tuesday for The Live Coverage.

Splatoon - Info and Review

Every Shooting Game has Weapons, Guns, and Snipers. It Has a Different Theme, Such as Wars, Soldiers, and Swag. But The Newest Nintendo Shooting Game would Kick Ass!

As Introduced in Nintendo Digital Event Last Year, Splatoon is The Latest Shooting Game Where the Teenage Fashionable Humans who Transforms into a Squid, Known as the Inklings are Using Weapons. Splatoon is NOT Violent for Kids, but This will be A Fun Summer Game. The Guns are Not Using Bullets, so they are Using Ink Instead. And Do You Know that Those Kids are Also Turning to Squids? Thanks to the Cheesy Splatoon Commercial, The Song is turning to be A Viral Hit.

According to K-Zone Magazine PH, Splatoon is like Paintball. As You Explore Inkopolis, You Will See Different Fashion Stores ala Divisoria (The Shopping Capital of Manila, Philippines). Each Weapon can Level Up with Powerful Ammos and Fashionable Outfits and Accessories can also Help You WIN The Battle. Before Including Squid Kids, They are Using Other Characters. That Includes Macho Men, Animals, and Mario (Because of Super Mario Sunshine).  I Totally Liked the Idea when the Developers changed it into Inklings.

There are Two Modes for The Game: Hero and Turf. In Hero Mode, You will become a Squid Kid (Actually) and Defeat the Octopi Clan. It’s Like a Mix of Team Fortress, Halo and Call of Duty. And In Turf Mode, You can invite your Friends to join on a 4-on-4 Multiplayer Battle without Using Water Guns or Nerf. You Can Pick What Color would you want for your Team! And Remember, There is NO VOICE CHAT. Get It? Over the Last Weekends, Many Gamers are trying to join the Splatoon Global Testfire Battle as a Demo. It’s like a Huge Pool Party, and at the End of the Game, They’ll Really Enjoyed It. Plus, The Splatoon Amiibo will give you More Challenges and More DLCs are coming to your Way soon.

Because of this Amazing Game, I’ll give It 9 Stars. The Inklings are So Cute. The Music remixed with Pop and Party Music, The Graphics are Too Cool, and The Gameplay is better the Any Violent Shooting Games. This would be the GOTY!

While In Super Smash Bros., the Wave 4 Amiibo Are Charizard, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Pac-Man, Ness, Wario, Lucina and Robin. A Video Game Store in Australia Has An Exclusive Silver Mario Amiibo Figure.

In The Store Opening, Many People are falling in Line at Gamestop, Toys R Us, Target, Walmart and Best Buy. Each of them has An Exclusive Amiibo. There’s a Rule in Selected Stores that Every Person will Only Get 2 Amiibos at A Time.They are going to Be Super Lucky when the Person Gets the Last Stock. Other People were going to Amazon to Order Amiibos, Too. The Best Sellers in Amazon are Lucina and Robin, Which can get A Sold Out for 15 Seconds Quick. They Also Want a Splatoon Amiibo Pack, Too. They are Always Got Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pac-Man, Ness and Greninja Instead if it’s Out of Stock. Hopefully We Want Nintendo to Add More Stocks like The Same Happenings with Japan Right Now since the Release of Splatoon.
